A Message From Jessica:

Hello and welcome!

I am a seasoned somatic psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals unlock their innate healing potential through the integration of mind, body, and spirit. With over 15 years of experience in the psychotherapy field, I specialize in trauma work, understanding and healing relational wounds, attachment work, and cultivating resilience. I work with clients to explore their comforts and discomforts and develop a meaningful plan to achieve their goals. I am rooted in the belief that healing is possible when there is alignment of the mind, body, spirit, and environment.

Using a holistic approach which emphasizes the importance of embodied awareness and mindfulness practices, we will promote lasting transformation and well-being no matter what the struggle may be. Trauma can present in our lives at any given time and I am committed to helping individuals, couples, and families find the healing they are capable of. I am committed to creating a safe and compassionate therapeutic environment, and to help guide clients on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and profound healing.

I also have extensive experience in family therapy and understand the unique dynamics and complexities that come with co-parenting relationships. Through individual and family sessions, I help parents address conflict, manage emotions, and create a healthy co-parenting environment that fosters cooperation and mutual respect. My goal is to empower parents and those navigating the waters of a separation to effectively communicate and create a stable and supportive environment for their children to thrive. I believe that with the right tools and support, co-parenting families can successfully navigate the challenges they face and create a positive and nurturing environment for their children.

Who am I outside of the therapy room? I have two young children and I am very passionate about the early childhood experience. I bring empathy from the lived experience of being an individual who has experienced both hardships and successes.  I am a multiracial individual who identifies as female.  I bring my humour, caring and understanding of how the complex systems which make up the human existence impact each one of us on a different level.. Whenever able, I gravitate towards the outdoors to enjoy the world around me.
